Sonar Bangla FC carries the pride of Bangladesh onto American pitches. Founded in New York City in 2004, the club was built for football, brotherhood, and a community that needed a place to represent together.

Sonar Bangla FC was founded in 2004 by a Bangladeshi immigrant family in New York City. It started from one household, but the goal was always bigger than a team.
The name Sonar Bangla comes from Amar Sonar Bangla, the national anthem of Bangladesh. For us, it represents country, culture, and carrying that pride from Desh to Bidesh.
